Important Notes
*Due to the varied age of our staff and the wide diversity of groups we host at The Farm Lodge, we do not allow alcoholic beverages in the main lodge building (dining room). The Farm Lodge does not serve lunch in its dining room but provides excellent box lunches for each day of your stay. The above packages include the transportation of up to 50 pounds of luggage per person between Anchorage and Lake Clark, with everything over 50 pounds traveling at 90 cents per pound, each way. The package rates also include park service fees and taxes. The rates do not include voluntary gratuities.

The actual flight departure and pick up times may vary, depending on the date of your stay.

Full payment is due in order to lock in a reservation. Payments are not refundable for any reason, including medical or weather related cancellations. Lake Clark Resort and The Farm Lodge will always do our best to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, but we encourage you to purchase a trip insurance policy for any unforeseen or unplanned cancellations. We offer the ideal setting for you to attend your next photography course. Your daily sessions are hosted by The Farm Lodge, giving you the perfect balance of a remote Alaska setting along with refined comfort. The lodge is just a short walk from the Lake Clark National Park visitor center. Local hiking to Tanalian Falls and Kontrashibuna Lake, guided boat tours, and wildlife and landscape tours are also available from The Farm Lodge.

Day 1:
-7:00 a.m. check in for flight from Anchorage, Merrill Field to The Farm Lodge. The flight to the lodge takes you through the scenic Lake Clark Pass, where you will see glaciers and glacial streams in one of Alaska’s most beautiful mountainous settin
-Check in to The Farm Lodge. Lodging includes a room with private bath, home-cooked Alaskan meals, and daily maid service.

Day 2:
-11:00 a.m. floatplane Fire and Ice Tour. This day takes you over and into some of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve’s most rugged and breathtaking landscapes. The day includes flightseeing as well as time on remote lakes for exploring and photography focusing on glacial landscape, active volcanoes, mountainous lakes, and tundra landscape. This day includes a box dinner and evening return to take advantage of the evening light.

Day 3:
-11:00 a.m. guided floatplane tour of Katmai National Park and Preserve’s mountain lakes. This day includes flightseeing and stops at remote lakes for exploring and photography as well as a flightsee of the Valley of 10,000 Smokes if weather permits. This day includes a box dinner and evening return to take advantage of the evening light.

Day 4:
-11:00 a.m. floatplane landscape tour. This final floatplane tour takes you to a selection of remote lakes for photographing a mixture of Alaskan landscape. This day includes a box dinner and evening return to take advantage of the evening light.

Day 5:
-11:00 a.m. guided boat tour on Lake Clark. Sitting in the foothills of the Chigmit Mountains, Lake Clark is over 40 miles long and offers access to spectacular scenery.

-7:00 p.m. optional evening session on Lake Clark. Return to the lake after enjoying your dinner at The Farm Lodge for an evening photo session.

Day 6:
-Local hiking to the Lake Clark National Park Service Visitor’s Center, Tanalian Falls, and Kontrashibuna Lake and scenic landscape photography.

Day 7:
-9:00 a.m. check out and return flight to Anchorage.
